Eagle gay bar bayshore ny for free#
And as the magazine photographer I usually get at least my first drink at LI gay clubs for free even when I'm not doing a shoot. It doesn’t get any sleazier than in New York’s dark, dank places of the night. I can not comment on drink prices at the Eagle (or any other LI gay club!) - I have to drive to and from any place out here, so I rarely have more than one drink.  That comes from observing them interface with other customers, not just how they treat me. I do not get to the Eagle often, but I have always found the staff and the crowd friendly. The place is sort of considered the home bar of the Long Island gay leather & motorcycle club, the Long Island Ravens MC, and the bar's owner, Al L., is a founding member and past president of the Ravens.  To my eye it looks like they do a good job of keeping the place clean even though they are going for a rough look.  There is a pool table at the back of the room, and an outside patio for the smokers.
Eagle gay bar bayshore ny license#
The walls are decorated with old license plates from around the country, and there are two barber's chairs as part of the seating. The Long Island Eagle is a relatively small place, with a rough sort of old barn or garage decor. Up front:  I do photos for a small Long Island based entertainment magazine that covers the gay club scene! Â
